Results: Andre Berto got dropped in the 12th in a fight everybody was calling do-or-die for him. Berto showed a lot of heart fighting with only arm working arm. But it’s clear to see he can’t cut it with the elite. Credit though, to Soto-Karass for upsetting the odds.

Winners: Nobody called the 12th round KO, but (of all people) The Infamous Eddie Brock came very close with a near perfect prediction. Brock would’ve scored massive points with the Gardner ruling in effect, and being the sole predictor of Soto-Karrass. Maybe next time! Good news for all those who predicted England to beat Australia in the ashes, or rather, bad luck to those who backed the Aussies (Crispy, Waydee, Alegria, Yonsta). In the end Australia clearly can’t bat and so came and wasted everyone’s time! BLT and Mrs Ellis still hold a slight lead. The Mayor is right behind them, and with the force that Eddie Brock is feeling he needs to be watched.

Up next: This Saturday (17th August) we have a double header: Darren Barker (25-1) v Daniel Geale (29-1) for Geale’s Middleweight belt, and Nathan Cleverly (26-0) v Sergey Kovalev (21-0) for Cleverly’s Light Heavyweight belt.
Rudi Lorrai says: Cleverly and Kovalev are both unbeaten and both can
bang. Cleverly needs to impress to secure the big US fights, but he’s
disappointed me in the past and he’ll do it again – Kovalev with the upset
in the 7th. Barker v Geale is another England v Australia battle….and
just like the cricket; the English will destroy the Aussie – Dazzling Darren
Barker in a dazzling 10th round KO!
