BiiigTime Boxxxing!!! Haye v Harrison, Paquiao v Margarito

Last result: Sugar Shane Mosely and Sergio Mora fought out a bore draw. This fight put me to sleep so hard I couldn't even find the energy to discuss it. Shane had some good shorts though.

Who won: Nobody! None of us are that wild-turkey enough to go for a draw so nobody gained any points and the table stays the same.

Next biiigtime fight: This weekend is the bigtime double-header of bigtime double headers! David Haye v Audley Harrison and then later on, Manny Paquiao v Antonio Margarito. I almost fell over when I heard that Fraudley had landed this title fight. Then I did fall over this week hearing all this Audley-might-win noise from various respected boxing aficionados. I’ll give Fraudley credit – he’s a north west London man, and he won the gold at the Athens Olympics. You gotta big that up. But the rest of Fraudley’s career…well, I’m not wasting my breath. David Haye’s ‘the new Mike Tyson’ (Dazla, 2008). I have to admit, the Hayemaker needs to stop ducking the Klitshko brothers. But right now he can only destroy what is put in front of him. Will Fraudley shock the world? It’s been done before (Hasim Rahman, Buster Douglas…) In the later fight, Antonio Margarito is seeking redemption from his filthy cheating ways. Boxing insiders are saying he is looking back to his best when he was hailed as ‘the most feared fighter on the planet’. They all ducked him them days – Hatton, Floyd, Oscar, Cotto, Marquez. But he did lose to Sugar Shane badly…and that may have taken a little something out of him. Manny Paq needs know hype talk. It has to be sed…so I’m sayin’ it: Manny Paq is the greatest boxer of our time. He has been champ from flyweight all the way up to welterweight…and now he’s attempting to take the super welterweight belt. Is it a weight too far (Margarito’s natural weight)??? Rudi Lorrai says: I hope Margarito does well, but you cant mess with the best. Paqman finishes him in the 8th. As for the A-Farce. Finally we’ll be rid of him. Hayemaker will put on a 3-dimensional 1st round Knockout masterclass. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Where & when: The Haye-Harrison fight is this Saturday, 8pm live from Manchester on sky box office. The Paqman-Margarito is this Saturday night, 2am live from Dallas Cowboys stadium on skysports 1. The RLTv crew will be at both beaming for free! With a potential 50 points to be grabbed at, get your predictions in ASAP. Facebook, email, text, voicemail whatever’s clever.
