BiiiigTime Boxxxxing!!! Khan v Salita

Fight Fans,
-----
Apologies to everyone for the late biiiigtime update. The reason: I let my emotions get the better of me…and I’ve only just now regained my composure and steadiness. Paqmans demolishment of Cotto left me fuming! Why the ref did not stop that fight in the 11th when all could see Cotto was taking a hella beating, only God knows. Instead, the silly ref decides to step-in in the 12th after ONE measly punch!! Anyways like I said, I’m cool now (it’s just that…I had the points in the bag. I woz robbed – and now I’m still below Madmax in the table!?) Anyways all praise to Manny Paq for dispatching Cotto the way he did. People were saying Cotto would be too big and all that. Manny put on a show and proved he was, and still is, the pound-4-pound best fighter on the planet. If you wanna dispute that, email me on

Unsurprisingly, nobody called the 12th round stoppage. Most of us did have Manny Paq, but as always you have the good the bad and the ugly. Dazla's Cotto in the 10th prediction was very bad. What were you thinking?! Now you’re mingling with the likes of Alegria, PRoy and (your nemesis) Eddie Brock. Mr Brocks Cotto in the 4th prediction was very very ugly! There’s no two ways about that. EB, unless you pull out an almighty 90th minute, bottom of the 9th, hail mary, buzzer beater…you’re finished in this biznis and packing your bags like the republic of Ireland. Who'll join him in the darkness? PRoy you’re favourite…but if you produce the goods Alegria or Dazla, or even Rudds may be down and out.
At the top - to be quite frank Enigma could seal the deal. Capping off a fantastic week and a fantastic season for the East London native. Don’t pop your champagne yet though, because BLT is still right there and could still be crowned king with one humungously biiiiiiiiiiiigtime prediction. As for me, I think I’m safe, but I gotta finish above Madmax. I just got to! All will be revealed on Saturday night when…

…Amir Khan defends his lightweight belt of the first time against Dimitry Salita. With Freddie Roach at the helm, Amir looks like the next best thing in boxing. Former Olympic silver medallist, former commonwealth champ. His speed and power are too much for anyone in Britain and Europe. Amir is now looking to make noise in the U.S.-of-A. Khan is talking the talk but he may be underestimating this guy. Besides, Amir doesn’t have the strongest of chins (Michael Prescott showed us that!). Salita is Bob Arums golden gloves golden boy! He has been touted for big things since he was a fresh amateur. The Jewish-Ukraine-Brooklynite is talking the talk also and it is hard to make out who'll actually walk the walk tomorrow night. Rudi Lorrai says: Amir represents and takes him out in the 5th. I sed it! In terms of Crispy’s Biiiigtime Boxxxing Title I don’t think it will be staying down under. Will Crispy even end up as the best boxing predictor in her household??? Will Enigma do a Jenson Buttons and finally seal the deal??? Will BLT come through as he proclaimed? I don’t have the answers. But all questions will be answered in full on Saturday night!

The fight’s on Sky Box Office on Saturday night (tomorrow) at 8pm. If you can’t get the hook up, Casa de Rudi Lorrai shall be open to all for the last time in 2009.

Good luck and Goodnight!
