Last night David Haye proved all the doubters wrong and became the WBA Heavyweight champion of the world! He stuck to his game plan and out boxed Nikolai Valuev to an awesome points decision. To be honest, the Hayemaker embarrassed the Russian and he said he would - and he almost KO'd him in the 12th. Nobody has ever wobbled the beast-form-the-east, and the Hayemaker did just that. The New Mike Tyson...??? Hate to say it, but Dazla's right.

Five people called the fight correctly. RL, Madmax, Crispy, BLT and Enigma. The mighty Madmax continues to predict correctly and is smoothly cruising away from any hint of relegation pressures. Crispy rises to joint 3rd with Stratosfear (oooooooh), BLT stays 2nd, and with 32 points at the top is Enigma. It's very close at the summit and it could go to the wire. At the other end. PRoy and Eddie Brock are in the zone! EB quite frankly looks doomed. PRoy can still survive as fellow Valuev predictor - Alegria, is not looking too hot right now. Flirting with those three are Dazla and Rudds. No surprise with the ever-controversial Daz....but Rudds!? Rudds, my friend, what has happened?!? You are the former BTB champ! You are a BTB hall-of-famer! I know you....you're better than this. You are far too close to the dregs of this league and it's not healthy viewing. Fix up...do not do a Rafa Benitez!

The next BiiiigTime Boxxxxing is this weekend. This will be the biggest and baddest fight of the year. sed it! Manny Paquaio vs Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. Doesn't get any bigger! The Paqman needs no intro, hype or announcing. He's the former flyweight champ, the former bantamweight champ, the former super-featherweight champ, former lightweight champ, and current Ring Magazine light-welterweight champ. He's arguably pound4pound the best boxer on the whole planet. He's destroyed the biggest names in the business including Dela Hoya, Marquez, Morales, Barrerra and Hatton. Is Cotto his next victim or this is one weight too far? Miguel Cotto is Puerto Rico's numero uno. He has fought at light-welterweight and welterweight for the whole of his career. With 27 kayo's from his 34 victories. He has lost only once. That was the super fight with Maragrito last year, and this was only because Margarito cheated (illegal substances in his gloves - which Maragrito was found guilty). Many insiders are saying Cotto has now matured into the fighter he was destined to be, and that with his bonafide welterweight strength - an upset is on the cards. Are they talking yang? Or will Cotto show-and-prove? Rudi Lorrai says: Cotto has proved that he is the man now. Against anyone else he wins. But Paqman is living the dream right now and Paqman will floor him in the 11th round.

The Paul 'new hitman hearns' Williams v Kelly Pavlick has been rescheduled, which means that there's only one BiiigTime fight left (other than Cotto v Paq). That's the biggy smalls between Amir and Salita in December. A potential 24 points available means most people, including me, could stlll win the title (unless you're deep in the zone! haha). The harsh reality though, is that the title will come down to big guns like Enigma, BLT and Crispy (and possibly the waning but elusive Stratosfear or Minho). This means that when all is said and done...the predictions of the Cotto v Paq fight could be the clincher. This is biiiigtime!!! More than ever you'll have to dig deep. More than ever you'll need to bring your A-game predictions.

Email/Text when your ready. The fight is on Sky Sports at 2am this Saturday. Casa de Rudi Lorrai will be open to all.

Second place is merely the best of the losers.
