BiiigTime Boxxxing!!! Froch v Mack and DeMarco v Broner
Results: Nathan Cleverly easily dispatched of Shawn Hawk in the 8th round last week, and Wladimir Klitschko did the same with Mariusz Wach but could only muster a points win. To be fair, Klitschko looked his most aggressive in a while and Wach had a chin like granite. Cleverly is now flirting with a fight against a 50 year old!
--------
Winners: Both Crispy and Madmax turned up the pressure on me by calling the Klitschko win and the Cleverly TKO respectively. Madmax would be top if it weren’t for messing up a few weeks ago (unlucky!). Biggest props however, go to Waydee. After having his position referred to as ‘unhealthy’ last week, Waydee produced the goods and became the first person ever to correctly predict both fights on a biiigtime double header. Take a bow son! To achieve such a status in your first year of BTB is remarkable.
--------
Next up: This Saturday (17th November) we have another biiigtime double header:
1) Carl Froch v Yusaf Mack for the Super Middleweight title – The Cobra wants another crack at Andre Ward, but Mack thinks Froch is overrated and his time is up. One thing for sure, Froch is NEVER in a boring fight. This will be big!
2) Then we have Antonio De Marco v Adrien Broner for the Lightweight title – DeMarco is fresh off of a 44 second KO and will be looking to put a similar beatdown on ‘The Problem’. Broner has the speed and skill to be the next best thing in all of boxing.
Rudi Lorrai says: Froch will make the Mack pay with a 7th round KO. Broner is either the biggest gum flapper in the game or the next Mayweather. Tonight he’ll be too slick and KO DeMarco in 5.
-----
Where: Froch v Mack is live from Nottingham at 8pm on Sky Sports 1. DeMarco v Broner is live from Atlantic City at 2am on BoxNation. RLTv is streaming live worldwide! There is a potential 50 points to be had, so get your predictions in ASAP – email, tweet, facebook, whatsapp, viber, Skype whatever you want.
