BiiigTime Boxxxing!!! Burns v Katsidis

Bigtimers,
-----
Results: Last time out, controversy struck again! Light-heavyweight belt on the line…round two…Hopkins throws lead right while Dawson lowers himself…Hopkins finds himself on Dawsons shoulder…Dawson flips him off….Hopkins lands hard on his shoulder and dislocates it. Referee counts BHop out and calls it a TKO!?! How that decision came to be I don’t know. In the earlier fight, an absolute brawl took place in Liverpool. Nathan Cleverley took a unanimous points decision over Tony Bellew. Defibatley fight if the year contender.

Winners: Nobody managed to a call any of the fights correctly, but Mrs Ellis, Rudds, Daz and Alegria were the high achievers who managed to pick up the most points. Marie (who picked up no points) has a slim lead at the top with BLT and Rudds gnashing away behind him. At the bottom there is more drama down there than an evening in Hammersmith! Reigning champ, Alegria, is rock bottom, but less than 10 points separates her from Aaron, Turnerslaw, Enigma and Minho. The latter has slipped so hard and needs to a drastic turn around in form.

Next up: This Saturday, 5th November is Ricky Burns v Michael Katsidis for the Lightweight championship. Ricky Burns is arguably Britain’s most underrated and feistiest world champion. He’s the WBO super-featherweight champ and has come up the hard way. Katsidis is a boxing fans dream. He’s been in so many brawls you’d lose count. The last time the Aussie he came to Britain he beat up Kevin Mitchell in east London. It will be a true Britain v Australia. Who will conquer who???
