Bigtimers,

Result: George Groves won the battle of London against his arch rival James Degale. Two judges had Groves winning by 1 point and that proved to be enough. It was the closest of fights and every person has their own varied opinions. I’ve watched the fight so many times now and I’d probably say it came down to whoever won the last round and that was Groves. This was also the opinion of Derek Chisora whom I spoke to at the end (at that time I thought Degale won, but there you go…)

Who won: It was double points. Many backed Degale but Minho and Crispy had faith in Saint George pulling out the points victory. Minho is on top-of-the-world at the mo’ and Crispy now sits in 3rd spot, a single point from pole position. That’s bigtime!! Well done to Stratosfear and Turnerslaw for making great strides to survive the drop. Unfortunately the Mayor is proppin’ everyone up.

Next biiigtime fight: This Saturday, 4th , is the second semi-final of the super6 boxing classic: Carl Froch v Glenn Johnson. Arguably Britain’s number 1 world champ. The Cobra is raring to go after beating Andre Dirrell in the first round, losing to Mikell Kessler and then most recently slapping up Arthur Abraham. Froch is never in a bad fight so Johnson needs to watch out. Glenn Johnson is hard as they come. He’s beat up Roy Jones Jnr, Antonio Tarver and Chad Dawson. His chin and his fists are granite…but he’s 41 years old, and if your name's not Bernard – you need to stop. He thrives at being the underdog though so…

Where + When: The fight’s this Saturday in Atlantic City. It’s live on Sky Sports 1 at 10.30pm. The RLTv crew will be ringside again. Get your predictions in ASAP - email, facebook, text, BBM, voicemail, whatever’s clever.
