Since the cancellation of the Andre Berto – Sugar Shane January 30th bonanza....boxing of the bigtime variety has been on the slim side. Fear not though because without doubt, Biiigtime Boxxxing is back! 2010 is looking sweet: There’s the Klitsko brothers defending their belts in March and May, the Hayemaker goes to war with Ruiz in April and then will hopefully go tete a tete avec la Klitsko bros! There’s Super6 action with Arthur Abram v Andre Dirrell, Andre Ward v Allan Green and Carl Froch v Mikel Kessler. Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones will finally sort out their 40-year-beef. Pretty Boy Floyd and Sugar Shane square off in May. Kevin Mitchell and Michael Katsidis will aim to kayo each other around then, and King Khan and Malignaggi have a have a mouth watering May 15th scrap.....and this is all before Rudi Lorrai Day!!! Plus bigtime Brits James Degale and Kell Brook will be stepping up. It’s all too good.

The big one is this Saturday though. Manny Paquiao v Josh Clottey. This is big because of the bs that Floyd Mayweather has caused. Floyd's still my favourite boxer and I can’t bring myself to comment on the nonsense he’s caused. But one thing that has happened is that Manny Paq is fuming!!! This guy’s usually cool calm and collected, but he’s now uncharacteristically frazzled. Flapping about never taking drugs...and revenge against Mayweather. Paqman may go into this fight (without his roids – I never said that) in the wrong frame of mind and catch a bad one......! Or.....seeing as he’s the welterweight champ, pound4pound best boxer in the world and the only human being in history to become a 7-time world champion – he just might give Clottey the same kind of whooping they all get! For sure though, Clottey can’t be underestimated. He’s never been down in his life and the skanking that he got against Cotto back in June has still left him mad at the world. This is his last chance and he may take things out on Paq to cause the greatest upset since Buster Douglas. Rudi Lorrai says: The upset is on. Clottey has got him at the right time and it’ll be very close. However I’m not a wise fool. Paqman is the greatest fighter since Roy Jones had his headphones. Paqman takes him out in the 10th round. I sed it!!

Enigma is the reigning champ and he hasn’t had to work too hard so far this season. He’s having a very rosy week this week so a clue for the crew: wait and see what he says and follow haha. On the flipside, Liverpool fans (saying no names) are not having such a rosy time so whatever Ruddz and Madmax say – go the opposite!!! On the real, to win this season...all you have to do is believe you’ll win. Remember that.
