Been a while but the big fights have rolled back into town with a bang! Last weekend Carl Froch destroyed Jermain Taylor with a 12th round beating. Froch showed the mettle he's been going on about and rose from the canvas (in the 3rd) to come back and spank the yank. How Taylor let this go only God knows but hopefully Froch gets his props and Taylor gets lost! Froch is now calling out Calzaghe out of retirement (calzaghe on the other hand is busy shutting down Frank Warrens assets').

Nobody called the fight...as most of us had no faith in Nottingham's finest. Gotta say bigup to Enigma, Marie and Eddie Brock who did have the insight of seeing a Froch victory. The latter has recorded his first points of the season - and for that reasons his prediction will not go under investigation (despite what you think...).

This weekend is the biggy smalls!!! Ricky the hitman Hatton v Manny Paqman Pacquaio. They're calling it the fight for pound4poundship. Ricky Hatton seems to be the man when it comes to light welterweights. He dispatched Malignaggi at Maddison Square and only really lost to Mayweather at the higher weight (welterweight). Although....lets not fake the funk - Mayweather beat him like his daddy!!!! Hatton seems like a new fighter with Floyd snr, but will it be enough. Pacman is the king of the ring - fact! He's pound4pound. He's beaten dela hoya, barrerra, morales, marquez (all when they were fresh)....theres nothing more to say about this guy. Hattons the under dog....but he's the bigger man and the natural light welter. This is gonna be close. Rudi Lorrai says: Hatton is finished. Floyd exposed him and the Pacqman will expose him again. Look out for a checkbook hook that sends hatton to the canvas in the 9th. I sed it!!
